90 Notes to Self

This is an archive of 90 notes to self — a weird little art journal thing for Instagram.

The basic idea is that I would post a photo with a sticky-note note covering the photo. Each note says somthing about the photo, my thoughts, the day, whatever.

The project encouraged me to take more photos and also to put pen to paper a little more often. A journaling exercise in public, on social media.

Each image is a casual snapshot with a handwritten sticky-note laid on top — a short statement, a thought, a little aside. The sticky-notes were composed in Affinity Studio; the notes themselves were scribbled in Procreate on an iPad, then copy-pasted over to Affinity and exported with a date as the filename.
